Keep same Ring ID upon re-installation of Ring

Issue generated from Tuleap's migration script. Originally submitted by: Mahiar Mody (mahiarmody)

When I re-install Ubuntu on my machine, I also have to re-install Ring on the PC. During the reinstall of Ring I would like to keep the same Ring ID that I previously used for that PC. I've not been able to find a way of re-using the same Ring ID upon a fresh install of Ring.

Every time I install Ring on the re-installed Ubuntu, I get a new Ring ID generated. Since I get a new Ring ID, I now need to send my new Ring ID to my contacts etc.

It would be great if I could somehow tell Ring at install time that would like to use the manually specified Ring ID as my Ring ID for the device on which Ring is being installed.

Would it be possible to make this enhancement?
