Make Jami work well with TOR

Tails is investigating mobile messaging applications to include by default. See https://tails.boum.org/contribute/roadmap/ > "Applications and features"

There is a blueprint for this https://tails.boum.org/blueprint/mobile_messaging/ and it looks like Jami already meets many of the criteria.

But it MUST work over Tor / SOCKS.

I heard Jami's not so good with TOR yet. What do you think about improving connectivity and offering yourself as a good solution?
