swarm"-chat" type sync to update public and local name server nodes

Possibly just a dumb question or idea to keep in mind.

Could it maybe become possible to delete or correct registered user names, after they were created, by re-using (part) of the swarm chat feature to sync the usernames and IDs of name serving nodes?

Allowing edits only if signed by the userid?
