[GNOME] → [GNOME] Intercom Chat Echo

Issue generated from Tuleap's migration script. Originally submitted by: Óvári (ovari)

Computers:
Linux Mint 18.2 Cinnamon 64-bit
The GNOME client for Ring.
Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité - Version 1.0
built on 2017-08-25 21:55:29 UTC

  1. Setup:
    (a) Computer with username: same
    (b) Computer with username: same

  2. Writing an intercom message shows in the chat window the message as sent and received (left and right).

  3. The chat message should not show as being received on the computer which sent the message. It is not possible to do a voice call to the same username on the same computer; it would seem that chat messages should be the same.

  4. The chat message should only show as being sent on the computer which sent the message.

  5. The chat message should only show as being received on all computers which did not send the message.

  6. The message only shows in double on the computer which wrote the message; the other computers which did not write the message correctly only receive the chat message once.

  7. Fixing this chat echo would give the same experience as an intercom voice call.

  8. Please advise if you require any additional information.

  9. Please advise when this feature has been implemented for testing purposes.

Thank you
